Hydrologist & Physical Geographer

Dr. Arthur Lutz is a hydrologist and physical geographer with 15 years of international experience in water resources management and global change, with a focus on mountain regions. He obtained his PhD from Utrecht University, investigating climate change impacts on high mountain hydrology in Asia. Arthur is highly skilled in data and spatial analysis, simulation modelling, GIS, and remote sensing, and is passionate about training and knowledge transfer. He has led and contributed to numerous projects worldwide, addressing water, food, and energy security in the context of global change. Before co-founding hydrominds, Arthur was Chief Scientific Officer and Senior Hydrologist at FutureWater and a researcher in Utrecht University’s Mountain Hydrology group.
