Climate risk and adaptation analysis for Uzbekistan

We’re excited to share that hydrominds has started a new assignment supporting the Asian Development Bank (ADB) in its Transmission Grid Enhancement Project for Uzbekistan. The project aims to strengthen regional power transmission capacity, enhance grid stability, and facilitate renewable energy integration through the construction of over 450 km of new transmission lines across multiple regions in the country, including transects in mountainous terrain.

Hydrominds conducts a comprehensive climate change assessment, including detailed climate risk and adaptation analysis, and GHG emissions reduction estimates. We will also provide recommendations for climate-resilient infrastructure design and improved meteorological monitoring capacity.

For this work hydrominds applies its profound expertise in mountain climate risk to connect climate science with sustainable infrastructure, helping build resilient, future-ready energy systems.
